Just redeemed "Day One" Achievement and it's not showing.

Hi there, I just got a sweet deal on a brand new sealed XBO Day one Edition, I know, I know, a little late for day one lol, but still, everything is working great, awesome machine and when I redeemed the code for the achievement it did
got accepted and everything, but It doesn't even show in my achievement list. Now that I try to use the code again it says it has already been used, so adding the code again was no help. Any fix guys? I would really appreciate it, thanks!

I just
compared your achievements with mine, and indeed: The Day One Achievement is locked.

You might have to
contact the official support to have them check why the achievement disappeared.

I know; some, like True Achievements are currently only tracking Xbox One achievements and challenges for their Pro Members while they work out the kinks of tracking the new console.

 

Its a slightly odd achievement is this one, as its a zero point achievement it often doesn't show in peoples lists where you'd expect it to.

On your Xbox one, if you open the achievement app, then after the 3 recent games it lists hit the "..." button you should see a "game" titled "Xbox One" and the zero point, day one, achievement should be shown there.

Were you able to find a resolution? I'm having the exact same issue (on the same day too).

 

I did chat with custumer suppor fromt he link above right now and she said that, they will tell someone to sync it for me on their end that it may take 24 hours . I have to wait and see it it works, let you as soon as I get it.

Okay, so I spoke with Support again last night and they had me try something different. It didn't actually work for me, but the guy did seem genuinely shocked that didn't resolve the issue. Maybe it will work for you...

• While signed in, go to Settings > Disc & Blu-ray > Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage. Do this step for 3 times.
  
• After you are done clearing Persistent Storage, go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC > Clear Alternate MAC > Restart.
  
• After the One restarts, sign back in, go to Settings > Sign-in, security & passkey > Remove me from this Xbox.
  
• Sign-in again and check the for the achievement.
