    Just purchased an Xbox series S and Game Pass Ultimate, how do I set it up so I don't need to be signed in every time my kids want to play games using their own profiles?

    I thought they should be able to download games and play them on their own if I have given them permission as long as they fit within the age profiles I have given them.

    At the moment I need to be signed in on the Xbox to allow them to play.

    I don't have it game pass ultimate on the xbox one s console and it is hopeless without and so I want to get rid of xbox one and buy series x on the upgrade.

    Yes. As long as you don't have an active Ultimate subscription, any standard Gold or Game Pass you have will upgrade to Ultimate if you buy an Ultimate subscription.
    Thanks for your time and your answer. Do you have any advice on how I should proceed if I wanted to pre-purchase Xbox Live Gold and convert it to Game Pass Ultimate? My current PC Game Pass is set to expire on the 26th and I don't see a way to cancel it.
    Should I wait until then to purchase Live Gold or can I do that now?
