    Just got the Arctis 7x and noticed a buzzing/humming sound when connected through wireless.


    Literally just got the headset and there is this loud buzzing sound when just sitting on the Home Screen of the series x. Is there any fix for this or should I return it to the store? I also have it connected through the dongle on the Xbox setting.

    You can use the Steelseries Arctis 7x for XSX, PS5 and PC.

    I've got the Arctis 7P, which is only compatible with PS5 and PC, so be careful when buying.

    The only issue is, you have to use a USB-C Dongle to use it on the consoles, not like the Xbox Wireless Headset, which directly connects to the Xbox.

    Consider switching to the updated wireless headset or the steel series Arctis 7x both are great options.

    Loud noise when game is inserted, silent when DVD is inserted.

    It is a similar sound to that of the fans in a computer. Not a grinding noise at all, I would say its a mix of humming and buzzing, but more hum.

    It's not a chirping sound. It's not a high pitch sound. It sounds similar to the buzzing/humming from a DVR or laptop. It goes off after around 5 minutes.

    I returned them and got the SteelSeries Artcis 7X, no stupid buzzing or anything with mic monitoring on High. The issue is with the MS headset, whether they can fix it is another matter.
