Just got an Xbox One! (no fanboys please)

I've had my Xbox One for about 3 days. It's much better than I expected, and the Kinect works wonderfully. Controlling the entire console with just my voice feels truly next-gen. The interface is very easy to navigate, and Kinect makes it all better. I don't
use the motion tracking though, just my voice.

I also love the built-in gameplay recorder and Twitch broadcasting. Yes I know PS4 has those features also, but the Xbox One allows you to edit multiple clips at a time and stitch them together in one video. Plus the Twitch app lets you watch anything from
the site (including PS4 games, LOL), while the PS4 Twitch integration is only for PS4 games. I can't wait for the update that adds external hard drive support so I can finally get a 1 TB hard drive to have more space for game installs and downloads.

One more thing... I'm sick of the fanboy hate coming from all sides. First it was cool to hate the PS3, then it was cool to hate the Wii U, now it's cool to hate the Xbox One. Give it a rest already! People need to stop perpetuating this "console war", it's
just childish and pathetic. Just play the games and systems you enjoy and leave others to do the same. The Xbox One and PS4 are evenly matched, and they are both selling very well and getting plenty of developer support. Isn't that all that matters?

Unfortunately just like any other product and fans there is always "wars" I have always been a Xbox guy. Cant speak for playstation so theres no point for me to bash it. I enjoy all the features that the One has to offer. Its only going to get better as
time goes on. No console is perfect on release. Have a great time with is and welcome to the community!

@ Cloud. So far I only have BF4 and Titanfall, but I do plan on picking up DR3, just not anytime soon as BF4 and Titanfall will keep me very busy. I planned on buying an Xbox One in a month or two, but the Titanfall hype got to
me

 

titanfall is an epic blast and really fun to play, not as stressful as other FPS games, send a request sometime and we will have to play that goes to anyone.

BHC: I only got a chance to play the BF4 beta on the 360 and I wasn't too keen on it. I love sniper rifles and that whole bullet drop just makes me panic when I am aiming lol. Titanfall is a great choice though. You won't be upset when you get round to nabbing
Dead Rising 3. One of the best zombie games I have played in a long long time. How are you finding things on the X1?



Far: It really is pretty awesome. I was shocked at how much I enjoyed it. 6 months ago I was saying how much the mechs were off putting but as time went on I grew really fond of the gameplay. Now it's released, my console hasn't seen anything else lol.

I'm not a keen sniper, but I will admit that it's a lot of fun on BF4 even if I miss most my targets. I have not had the chance to turn my Xbox One on yet (hope the bloody things works), but I spent many hours on a friends Xbox
One and I'm very impressed with the console, it's an improvement from the Xbox 360 and I have no complaints, well apart from I need to get used to the Xbox One controller
