Just got a commucations ban

Okay. I just received a communications ban on Xbox live. I use about 4 apps and 1 game.

Pubg, Netflix, YouTube and anime unlimited.

So if I play pubg even when I am not in a party even if I did give off nobody would hear me because there's no proximity chat on it.

If I sent a message or voice message I would understand the ban. My last message sent was okay mate after my friend asked me to come on and play.

So basically what has happened is I have killed someone and they have took it bad. Took my gamertag sent it to all his friends and said ban this guy he's a cheater or a racist or whatever and it worked I got banned.

How is this fair?

After the 24 hours is up here I could well be hit with another ban and I haven't even been able to communicate with Anyone.

I would have had no issues in giving the enforcement team full access to my account to check if I did anything wrong. But ofcourse my case isn't up for review.

So brillant now I have to wait 24 hours for the potential to be banned again for what excalty.

What happened to innocent until proven guilty?

I understand it probably is used by a lot of people for all the right reasons. That's fine but there's a lot of us that are being bullied by a system that's easily manipulated by people. I dare say Xbox don't like that there own system can be used in such
a way. But don't see them acting on it.

The enforcement team investigates each complaint they receive and will only issue a suspension/ban if they determine you have done something to violate the code of conduct. So it wouldn't matter what the other person said or did.

 

Microsoft support already agreed it's easy to grief on it.

If I did something wrong I wouldn't have bothered with this post.

Also why can't I have the proof of my wrong doing and why can't it be reviewed?

 

Support doesn't handle enforcement issues at all so they tend to give incorrect information regarding it.

I'm not exactly sure why the enforcement team won't give specific information, they used to when they used the forums, but they've never been obligated to do so.

Your suspension can't be reviewed because the review process would take longer than the suspension itself.

 

I can't believe you just jump on there band wagon.

I bet if you set up an account and sent me it's name and the same to everyone on your friends list and mine. That account would get banned.

 

Also time shouldn't be an issue I pay for this service and have done for about 9 years.

So why can't I have my answers and I would also happily post the results to show I did nothing. Even it showed I did do something wrong I would still post it but up to you to believe me or not.

 

Microsoft/Enforcement Team need to look more closely into their case files. I have seen a number of different people, other than this post, comment about similar issues on other sites also.

It seems to me that its easy to get someone banned if you have a "game rage" moment.

For PUBG and this situation ... I dont see how the MET (Microsoft Enforcement Team) can place a ban regardless of the ban subject.

1. There is no In-game chat.

2. No typed messages where sent to another GT that had a malicious or rule breaking content.

It alerts me to the integrity of this MET and leaves me questioning are they actually reviewing any cases or just simply taking any submission as fact without investigation.

If I was banned, I personally would want the MET to have the decency to give me a detailed reason explaining the reason. I think this isnt too much to ask for.. it could be a simple;

Reason - what I had been acused of.

Time - when I done this.

Method - how i done it.

Outcome - state the outcome of their investigation and why they came to this decision.

And the chance to have it reviewed once more with active coms with the MET.

Simple, professional, Fair MET. All we want.

I have already done this mate doubt it will do anything but imagine how many people this effects ofcourse the systems there for good reason.

However mistakes happen fair enough but have a reason and be able to back it up with facts.

I already stated they can have all the information of my account I have nothing to hide.

Just unfair how easy it is to do.

 

They already have access to everything you do on Live which is what they view when someone reports you.

 

I believe it goes to a computer for your first offence and it makes a decision based on the volume and amount of reports.

Then if it gets more serious then you get passed onto the enforcement team and that's why there's no review. This time around.

Makes sense computers are cheaper than people.

 

All reports are investigated by the enforcement team, although I have a feeling they have a system to filter for things like profanity. So it's not possible to be suspended based on a number of reports. You can have a million of reports filed against you
and not receive a suspension.
