"Just getting your game ready" then never loads.

Hey, My GTAV disc continues to come up with "Just getting your game ready" and proceeds to never load, Help this is making me very very annoyed.

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your console.

I would recommend trying the steps in our
Offline System Update sticky thread. It has a couple of different options to try.

Please let us know how that goes and we'll work from there.

I'm having the same problem. Cant get past 10% download for the initial system update, also on the "getting ready to update" screen.

 

try doing a hard reset by holding the power button on the front of the console until it turn off then unplug it from the outlet for a minute then plug back in, power back on and try the game again.

Please carry out a hard reset of the console then try again and also don't forget you may need to wait for a number of minutes while the game is getting patched before it will start.

 

i had the same problem with all my installed games and aps. Tried reseting my consile and then unpluging it a dozen of times but nothing.. Please guve me some advice cause i cant afford a service by microsoft

 

the same thing is happening to me with every game I have. Iv tried hard resetting and restarting my console multiple times. The problem just started today and I have not found a way to fix it online. Also when I start up my Xbox it takes me strait to
the store and says there's is a problem loading the store which is very unusual. I don't known if that's has anything to do with it. Please help.

Same issue. Exactly to a T.

 

Same thing is happening to me too. Have tried hard reset and installing the game then re installing but no change. When I turn Xbox on mine also goes straight to the store then says can't find what your looking for even tho I haven't tried anything.

 

I'm having that same issue, it started i think last Saturday

 

I've had this issue come up multiple times now. 1st time I uninstalled everything I own and reinstalled. Fixed it for a bit and now problem is back again. Don't have the store issue however. Quite frustrating to have to reinstall games multiple times.

 

Got your answer all, at least it seems to work. You have to factory reset your console. There is an option to keep your games an apps.

 

For those wondering, this solution solved my issues.
