Disclaimer: I am not a expert gamer or even a gamer. I bought this for my kids. I went to buy TitanFall for our Xbox 360 and found out it requires a $130 hard drive to play so I chose to buy Xbox One instead of spending more money on a old system that is
going away. On the 360 more than one person could play the game which worked well. But so far on Xbox One one sibling gets to watch the other play which goes over oh so well. (<----Sarcasm). Maybe someone can help out here?

Here are the games and the statements on the back of the cover:

TitanFall - Players 1-2 (From what I read online you need 2 Xbox One consoles, 2 - Microsoft Live accounts and 2 - Titanfall Games for 2 player to actually happen)

Forza Motorsport 5 - Players 1-2 (Support community shows no one else could get the split screen to work either)

Lego The Movie Video Game - 1-2 Player. (No split screen again)

Before I assume that Microsoft is hoping to create a generation people who sit in a dark room alone with no tangible social interaction playing videos games while chatting with strangers online, which parents are so supportive of (<----- more sarcasm) or
Microsoft is plotting to decrease the world population by having siblings watch each other play video games, I will wait and hope someone out here can help me figure out how to play multiplayer games on Xbox One?

2 Player Split Screen

Hello!! So I just bought and Xbox One for my kids and bought them Need For Speed. I read the back of the game before purchasing and it says that more than one player can play it, so I got it. Well when we tried to play it I quickly realized that well it's
not a 2 player splits screen or at least I couldn't figure out how to set it up if it was. So, with that being said I was wandering, are there very many local multiplayer split screen games for the Xbox One at least enough to justify my console purchase? Or
are the games mostly all single player online games only?

3 kids have own accounts?

I have 3 kids. I bought 1 year of xbox live for xbox 360 for 1 of my kids. Can my other 2 kids get their own profile with that account? Do I have to buy each kid and xbox live account for them to be able to play/save their own games?

Although I can't speak for Titanfall or Lego The Movie Video Game as I do not have either of those, I can assure you that 2 player split screen is available for Forza 5.

To set it up only the first player should be logged in. When the first player sets up the multiplayer option there will be a second player slot available. The person with the second controller should then press A and sign in with their gamertag. From
there they will be able to play together locally.

William YXF: I never said we needed better graphics on Pinball, I would love to get rid of my 360 and get rid of the clutter. I wonder even at times if my wiring will handle both consoles on all the time. the two Kinect sensors do not exactly add style
to my widescreen tv sets, LOL. One looks pretty cool, two looks cluttered.

Yes I bought 3, One thing for sure is I like to game with my kids but can not stand my TV being taken over by my kids. So each kid has their own set up. We do a lot of co op play here also and I can not ever get used to split screen. My kids are able
to do split screen but I just can never get used to it.

I absolutely need split-screen. What am I gonna tell my friends that don't own an Xbox One and want to come over and play the new Halo? Sorry, 343 got rid of split-screen so you had to buy more than one Xbox One and more than one copy of Halo 5? That's the
real reason why it was cut. Of course they can do split-screen but they just don't want to. It's like Major Nelson saying that they can't just "flip a switch" and reverse the god-awful decisions that were announced at the beginning of the public involvement
with Xbox One. They changed that and they can change this too. It will just take mediocre sales to change all of the terrible things that 343 is doing to Halo like paid DLC to win games and zero customization.

I just got this game for my kids and I must say it has been a horrible experience. We have spent more time researching all the problems with this game than actually playing it.

This game constantly crashes my entire Xbox One. I figured out the very bizarre method of how to properly load up a split screen game so that that doesn't cause a crash (IE - the second controller must be logged in as a Guest before you even start the game).
I say bizarre because this is the dumbest solution I have ever seen in a co-op game. When my kids play any of the Lego games two player, they just join the game like any other game for the past 30 years.

As it stands, my son quit the game and saved their world and then the Xbox just froze on the home screen showing Minecraft as a black screen. We had to disconnect the power completely in order to do anything.

So far I am pretty disappointed with this game. I would like to know what needs to be done to fix this game once and for all.

Solution to split screen problem. Buy more Xbox, possibly more tv...at least that's what they want you to do. And, most gamers have more than one screen now a days days anyways, but, even then probably not worth 1-2 extra consoles (though I guess it would
be the same as having a computer in everyroom). Anyhow, split screening is so out-of-date. Heck I haven't played split screen in ages.
