Just Bought the Game Pass - App won't recognise I have it

Just to verify, did you purchase just regular Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate? If it's just regular Game Pass, makes sure you bought Game Pass for PC, not Game Pass for console.

I've spoken to an Xbox gamer on live chat and the following sorted it:

1: Clear the Windows Store Cache.
If the Microsoft Store cache is damaged or corrupted, clearing the cache will easily fix this error. You can do this using the Run dialog or by manually deleting the cache folder.

To use the Run utility to clear the cache, do the following:

1. Press Windows + R to open Run.
2. Type in wsreset.exe, then click OK.

You should notice a blank Command Prompt window that opens for about ten seconds. Wait for the window to close by itself. The Windows Store app should open itself after the Command Prompt closes.

Followed by a windows update. I hope this helps anyone else suffering.

Yes that's correct - I specifically chose the PC option.

Thanks for the reply. I tried doing just that but it's still not recognising it. Bought it from Argos and I'm sure they won't take it back. So stuck with it..

I have the same problem. I bought it yesterday and it my series x won't recognise the disk. Returned it and same problem with new disk. Every other game disk I have works fine?

I just did a system reset and it's now installing the game from the disk
