Just bought new One S bundle with GOW4 and can't play it

Got my One S today, set it up and downloaded GOW4. After waiting 4 or 5 hours for the game to download I tried to start a game and I couldn't set up a save file because it said the connection to Xbox Live was lost. When I go to the home screen I can clearly
see that I'm connected but the game won't recognize the connection and won't allow me to start a save file.

This is frustrating, it's the only game I have, I had thought I was getting a hard copy of the game but it turned out to be a download that took hours and now doesn't work. If this was any other company I would have boxed all this crap up and sent it back
already.

The game seems to allow me to connect to something called Horde but since I have zero experience with the game I'm not interested in jumping into group play.

Please help.

Cannot download Gears 1 and 3 codes

I have same issue. Bought the Xbox One S bundle with GoW4 1TB. I got the codes last night. Codes for Gears of War and Gears of War 3 didn't work.

 

i buy xbox one s gow4 bundle but never send me codes for gow1-2 (receive 3-judgement)

i bought the xbox one s with digital code of gow4 in bundle from a store in greece.i redeem the code and receive the 2 codes of 3 and judge but not gow2

I get the same thing... Whenever I try to play a solo campaign it says ERROR connection lost and won't start the game... What a bunch of bull. They just say to uninstall and reinstall a 65 GB game. Not that convenient of a solution that does absolutely
nothing Microsoft.

1. Are you trying to connect your Xbox Live account through an Xbox console or on a Windows PC?

2. Are you connected to the internet via wireless or wired?
