Just bought modern warfare ii and once disc was installed and updated xbox is asking me to...

Its actually asking me to buy mw iii and theres no sign of the mw ii that i did buy

We may just need to refresh the license which is on the disc, kindly remove the disc and then perform a powercycle before inserting the disc again.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

After that, go to "My games and apps" > Installed games > Highlight the game > Press the Menu button > Go to "manage games and add-ons" > Click the game icon.

Make sure that these packs are installed:

It is not switched off and you just need to make sure that your account is set as Home Xbox on his console.

1. Sign in to your account.

2. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

3. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

4. Check "Make this as My Home Xbox".

Once done, ask him to follow the steps below on his console:

Go to "My games and apps" > Installed games > Highlight the game > Press the Menu button > Go to "manage games and add-ons" > Click the game icon.
