Just bought an Xbox One - can anyone recommend a decent Space Opera RPG like Mass Effect?

Hi all,

Please forgive the n00biness of this question! I've been a PC Gamer for many years, and just recently bought and Xbox One for the living room... Totally in love with it

Anyway, I'd played through Mass Effect 1 and 2 on an old PS3 a while back, was looking for something similar on the Xbone. Searched high and low, but can't seem to find a similar game to Mass Effect, with RPG elements (levelling, conversations, loot, exploration that
kind of thing). I know you can get ME1 on BC and it works well, so that's on my shopping list, and Andromeda will be out soon, but are there any others that anyone can recommend?

SO hard to choose

For me I guess it will always be Mass Effect, can't really choose between 1 and 2, 1 has the better story, really epic story, but 2 has better chafacter development and combat.

@Sniper Noc- I know the term I just didn't get it in that context. Imo he only thinks he wants an RPG. What he really wants is a FPS with RPG elements like Borderlands. It's a good game but it's about as RPG as Diablo.

[/quote]Yep considering that some of the technology that was shown in Star Trek as Sci Fiction is now Tech we use every day and some of it not every day. But Star Wars, Star Trek and Mass Effect all fall into the category or Space Opera.

 

Hard one, I don't think there is a real "Sci-fi" setting one, sure you have the witcher and stuff but their are pure fantasy in the more middle ages settings, I think if you want the future stuff the BEST I could think off is Final Fantasy XV, which will
be released in November and is an RPG.

You might also like Deus Ex, altough its more an action game then an RPG but it does have many RPG elements and has a very cool Sci-Fi setting and story.

 

Only game I can think of is The Technomancer.
