Just a Congratulations​ to MS and the Other Publishers​

Superb show this year guys! I think this was one of the better E3s in a while for MS IMO. Glad to see after enduring through this game drought we've had over the years begin to fade. I was so excited to see new games from familiar franchises I love make
an appearance. So excited!

I’m liking where this new Gears of War is going, I hope, I REALLY HOPE the multiplayer is reverted back to the Gears 3 era style as 4 was just a long, boring, grind-fest that was ruined by those disgusting loot box, microtransaction things.

I’m so happy Fallout will finally have coop. I’m sure everyone’s always dreamed of wondering those massive post-apocalyptic wastelands with their best buds and or family by their side.

That season changing thing in Forza Horizon was just, WOW. I hope all those massive coop event things are actual coop events people can do online together to get community rewards. I get bored of competitive racing. It will be quite a refresher to have a
car game with more cooperative and adventurous things to do with our cars other than just drift and speed down a street.

Metro? Damn. Not much to say. Just take my money.

Battlefield V? Looking nice as usual, glad to see EA/DICE have changed and removed all that Premium and Loot Box crap. Just copy GTA V’s formula and influence other games that made that horrific mistake to follow in your footsteps. There are no excuses for
other companies to continue down that stupid path.

…Halo? HALO? Although I was hoping for a mention of MCC’s status, that new little teaser of Halo Infinite… Oh my god I wish I could use profanities. All for good reasons though. I’ve been sifting through comments, and I am excited to see that 343i is FINALLY
taking a step back and RETURING HALO TO ITS ROOTS AND GLORY of what MADE HALO, HALO. If the rumours are true, great job 343i, you’ve finally listened to our cries and begs for Halo to be restored to its former glory. If you can pull this off, you will restore
my faith. Oh and if you fix my baby MCC. I had no idea that was a Halo game at first… Guess what made me think, “is that Halo?” The scene with the crashed classic pelican cockpit- I knew… I just knew that was my most favourite fictional aircraft/spaceship!
And that Halo 3 sounding music that sounded like OG Halo music with a ring in the background of the sky was just the icing on the cake. Now that’s the Halo atmosphere I missed. Oh and no offence, the art style, seeing the Halo 2/3 chief and classic pelican
was nice. The Halo 4+5 art style was just TOO far of a change. Like Halo Wars 2, we should have had the regular old pelicans and the Halo 4/5 pelican should have been like a gunship or a more advanced version.

I’m glad I can finally sit down and enjoy these fantastic upcoming games. Just keep the backwards compatibility games coming until we have them all, let us customize and de-clutter the Xbox One dashboard, have publishers remove loot boxes and microtransactions
and I think you can make gaming great again. I’m slowly restoring faith in you MS and some of you other companies. It’s nice to see a positive change in the right direction for once.

The European Court Of Justice decided: software can be resold!

actually MS isn't selling a product, but a license to a product, which is how they get around this, and other laws. I imagine lawsuits will come (ToS or not) but for now nothing will happen. i just hope publishers are brought in on the lawsuit as well as
MS.

@Cloud, I think it was done by design, i think it was done for DRM, but removing all of it would have ment delays and a massive rethink, TBH its good for MS, its not so good for the publishers, but publishers lose out to other things as well and I bet they
gain just as much as they lose.

 

There were many other games (like Division 2) and things I forgot to mention but the excitement was just too much... I'm going to go play some Xbox with my friends. Again, nice work everyone!
