July/August Update problems

On the last major update my counters were all reset to zero. I was at level 99 and had zero Bingos and zero power Bingos. I continued playing hoping for a magic fix, that has not happened. Will it be fixed or will it stay the same?

My Kinect just turned off...???

Mine turned of yesterday for no apparent reason...then came back on and turned off again. I unplugged it from the xbox and plugged it back in, no problems since.Click to expand...

This has happened to me a few times in the last week. I'm thinking it could be a software issue related to the last update (july update, not the august preview).

There is another dash update set to be in August with the beta in late June or early July.

Ah, thanks for pointing that out. Do I need to redownload and copy the OSU1 files to a USB again for the August 2019 update then? Or is OSU1 not in-line with the latest OS update and merely a 'rescue OS' to get things moving for the time being?

FYI, the one I downloaded again on August 14, 2019 updated my console to the July 2019 OS version, not August.

Is there no other way to update other that the OSU1 solution? I'm still on the July 2019 OS although things are running fine.

Xbox Live system update is a no-no for me as it corrupts the OS and then everything pretty much stops working.
