    JRE won't function

I'm trying to install Minecraft Forge, but JRE won't appear on the apps list. I went into the Java files and found an .exe file called C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_361\bin\java.exe. I then tried to use it to open the Forge Installer, but all that happened was a small black window appeared for a split second and then disappeared. I've tried reinstalling Java several times, but I'm not sure why it isn't working. I've installed Forge on my old computer several times, but I can't get it to work on my new one.

    :)

    JRE won't function

    Hi Alexander Engelmann,

    Greetings!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

Modifications to Minecraft, or "mods," are available through several third-party websites. These mods can add or remove content to the game or change how it is played. Note that these mods are not created, reviewed or endorsed by Mojang Studios, and the same precautions should be taken when installing these mods as you would with any other piece of independently developed software.

Modding can be complex and may cause your game to malfunction or not be playable. As modding is not officially supported, Minecraft Support cannot assist with issues arising from mod usage.

Please reach out with your Mod developer.

    Thank you.

No things working in Xbox Game Bar after Windows 11.

it may be by design that it does not work, gamebar needs compatible gpu's to function and as the drivers may mismatch then it won't function.

Plugging xbox one s into surge protector

It won't damage it, it just may not function properly.
