just as it seems. xbox one s controller right stick not working on steam. not able to look around with the right joystick on windows 10 in steam games. works with games from the windows store. Also causes drift in unity run time.

What device are you trying to use with the Xbox App?

What game are you trying to use the accessory for?

The Xbox Accessories app gives you more ways to play when paired with an Xbox Wireless Controller,
an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller, or an Xbox Adaptive Controller.

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Forums! We understand this can be confusing since the joystick will not work after removing the USB wire. As you mentioned, it only worked after removing the joystick from the paired devices list which causes us
to think that the system is confused. Since it was wired it makes the joystick believe it is supposed to be wired and not used over Bluetooth in a sense.

The link is to another thread on our Forums, it has some troubleshooting steps you can try regarding the Bluetooth Joystick.

The Adaptive Xbox controller is supported but the Logitech Extreme Pro 3D Joystick is not, and the supported joysticks and accessories are located on this page:

https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/accessories They are all plug and play, the ones on that page.

That's a pretty old Joystick. It's actually a Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro and it's over 20 years old from back in the Windows 98 days.

There's no way to make such an old joystick work on Windows 10 that I know of, sorry.
