    I have had a very strange issue for a while now where if I join an xbox party one of my friends does not disconnect, but just cant hear me and nobody can hear him. Nobody else is having the issue, just him. If it helps he uses a hot spot to play games
    and I have forwarded ports on my router for xbox party chat.

    Be careful who you join parties with, they cannot find your IP on the console but if you join a party, they can load the party onto a PC using the xbox app and then they can use software on the PC to find your IP address. So if you make someone mad in
    a game, do not accept a party invitation right away.

    Hi There.

    On the PC side, i have come across the issue where you have to ensure that in the xbox app on the PC, under audio input, that the correct MIc etc is specified there.

    if you are running discord etc on the machine as well, it will throw that off for you, so just have a look

    That is not the issue. He is on xbox and can talk normally until I join the party from my pc, at that point he can no longer hear people and people cannot hear him. I however can hear people and they can hear me. It is just one person that cannot use party
    chat if i join on my pc.
