    Joined XBOX Insider program on Windows 10 - not receiving APP updates as expected


    hi there, i've just joined the XBOX Insider program on my Windows 10 (i'm a PC gamer, no console available). As per instruction i downloaded the XBOX Insider Hub app and effectively enrolled myself into "Windows gaming" preview activity.

    I expected to receive an update to my XBOX app but it sits there to the retail version 2111.1001.3.0 instead of updating to one of the 2111.2xxx builds... i even tried to completely uninstall the XBOX app and reget it from the Store, to no avail.

    What's going on?

    Should i wait more time? Is the program on some sort of halt or congestion?

    I've not been able to find other people asking the same thing online, apart a couple of questions who got completely misunderstood and received wrong advice...

    That's odd. With that hardware specs you should be able to use the Xbox app properly (I have a PC with an i5 2th gen and the app works as expected)

    In order to assist you properly, tell me. Did you joined to any insider program? (Windows, Gaming for Windows, etc)

    Please double check this via Windows Settings > Windows update > Insider

    Or check if you're on the Gaming for Windows program downloading the Insider Hub app from the Microsoft Store > once opened select "Joined"

    If maybe you don't participate in any program. Let's try the opposite. Join to the Gaming for Windows program via insider hub.

    Restart your PC and check for updates via Microsoft Store. Update all the apps and let me know how it goes

    Are you in the insiders program?

    If you are then use a windows 10 machine and download the xbox insider's app and remove your console then apply the update

    If not in the insiders program use the offline update tool

    If not then use the offline update program

    If you are In the insiders program and only if you are in the insiders program

    Login on a windows 10 machine and download the insidera app

    Then remove your console.then update

    After ehich you can reenroll

    Or, are you part from the Windows gaming program?

    Check this last one downloading (or open) the Insider Hub app > Previews > Scroll down and below "Joined"

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums.

    It is not a requirement to join the Windows Insider Program in order to download Minecraft for Windows 10. You just need to purchase a license to play form the Store and then install it from the Store. I've never seen Minecraft require someone to join the
    Insider program just to download the game.

    Did you purchase the game from the Store? Please check your
