So, I've dealt with this error 80150017 business for over a year now. I wasn't happy about it, but it just happened.

But this was the stray that broke the camel's back. I tried to BUY a game. I just tried to buy Fallout New Vegas and it gave me that error.

Jesus Christ, you people. I'm trying to give you money. You have a button that can make an infinite copies of Fallout New Vegas and I'm trying to PAY for it, and you're refusing.

No, my actual location doesn't match my account location. My account location doesn't match my console region and my actual location doesn't match my console region.

You know why? Because my goddamned location isn't even listed on the countries list. I've theorized about Microsoft employees just looking at my console being connected and thinking it's an alien because I don't live in one of the countries of earth, apparently.

I'm paying for Xbox Live (Overpaying for it, might I add). I'm buying games. I'm trying to play ball with you people, but you just keep shutting me out.

I don't even expect to be helped, this is just me venting.

Sorry to hear that you're having issues purchasing the content that you want. However, this is due to region issues. I don't know which country you live in but as you stated it's not listed as an official Live enabled country.

Because you chose to sign up for Live using a different region than you live in you will always encounter issues purchasing and downloading items that were never intended for your region.

This is not due to Xbox Live policy but restrictions within the government of the country that you live in. If you would like Xbox Live and content enabled within your country you should look into petitioning your government to see about allowing access.
