I've uninstalled msfs2024. Now I'm looking to reinstall without having to pay for it...

you just go to the game and the Xbox app or Microsoft store and download it

It's listed there as downloaded, I only get the option to uninstall.

I don't dare, without knowing if I can reinstall it and how without paying for it again (Though, I know, it's really cheap now...)

I'm having the exact same issue. Was it ever resolved? I've tried uninstalling the game and uninstalling the xbox game pass and reinstalling it. I'm not impressed with this game service and would never pay more than a buck for it. The one game I want worked
for like 7 hours of game play, then it wouldn't launch, then it wouldn't reinstall.

I did everything except Uninstall and Reinstall. If I Uninstall will I be able to Reinstall from the Microsoft Store without paying again? Will it take another hour+ of downloading? Is there another idea?
