• Have you tried your friends Windows Hello PIN? These pins are tied to a specific device and not an account, which could explain why your pin isnt working on their device.

    "One important difference between an online password and a Hello PIN is that the PIN is tied to the specific device on which it was set up. That PIN is useless to anyone without that specific hardware. Someone who steals your online password can sign in to your account from anywhere, but if they steal your PIN, they'd have to steal your physical device too! Even you can't use that PIN anywhere except on that specific device. If you want to sign in on multiple devices, you have to set up Hello on each device."

I tried to link my Minecraft game to my Microsoft account today when the Minecraft Bedrock update came out.

I went to the given link ( aka.ms/remoteconnect ) and entered the code there.

After entering the code I was asked to log in with my Microsoft account, which I did.

The screen said I could close the tab now.

It is not possible to log in to the PS4 with my Microsoft account. I get an error message there that says nothing.

Can I request a new or different code, or can I reset the connection somehow?

I migrated my Minecraft account to Microsoft some time ago, and the game on my laptop is the full version, not a demo mode. I checked on both computers, and I am logged in the same Microsoft/Xbox accounts. I tried the "free trial" on my new computer and saw that it was not the full version.
