ShelbyWhitbeck, only you as a user can block and unblock players or friends. The only method Xbox provides to unblock a player you previously blocked is as follows:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide. Select Friends and then select the gamertag of the player you want to unblock.

Another way is simply to send a message to that player and this way they will be removed from your blocked list.

hi, i have tried everything and i cant unblock this 1 person, I've restarted my xbox and continuously tried unblocking him in multiple ways. please help.

I just tried this with a random account on the PC Xbox App - it seems if you block someone and then unblock them, they still remain your friend. I would try unblocking them then removing them as a friend - this might stop the notifications.

I’m having a similar issue but I’ve paid for the game on Xbox and the download never starts. Just says to check back later and there no other option. People tell me they’re having the same error with the ultimate edition and the solution seems to be to download the basic version, but that’s the version I’ve paid for and it just doesn’t work. I’ve paid for it, refunded it and tried again later and it’s the same thing. I’ve tried everything that has been suggested to me except for travelling back in time and preordering the game.

It’s on all my devices, so I’m pretty sure it’s my account, I’ve tried resetting my Xbox, deleting account and changing password, no luck. I’ve also just realized that everyone’s profile pictures have gone back to their original, not just my friends
