Hi, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Let's try to install the game digitally and then once successful simply insert the disc to play the game. Please follow the steps below:

1. Cancel the installation and remove the disc.

2. Perform a powercycle on your console.

​​​A. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

B. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

3. Launch Xbox app on your phone and search for the game.

4. Click the game and choose "Download to Console"

5. Wait for the game to install completely before inserting the disc to play it.

Its a digital download, and rebooting doesn't work, Hard resetting doesn't work. I've tried to clear my local saved games, and restart it that way, but it doesn't work.

It seems cod is downloading by disc okay its just forza and gta iv on digital download with error

Ive tried downloading and it wont connect; ive also tried deleteing the profile and clearing the cache and it still doesnt connect to xbox live

I didnt make any changes; and even retryed reseting factory settings with no luck

Any other ideas?

Ive given up on the drive as it wont recognize its even a 3.0 drive. my main concern is why a soft reset that says it wont delete any games or apps or anything deleted my locally saved captures
