I've returned my Xbox Series X THREE times to be serviced and the issue has not been fixed....

I’m not sure how to reach these settings, but I’m quite certain it is not an issue with my router. My series x has worked for months before now, and all other devices on the network are working, including my Xbox one and Xbox one x. I have been having this issue since roughly the time that my series x last updated, is it possible that the issue is an overlooked bug in the series x OS?

@AnyMicrosoftReps... Is there a fix to this issue that has been known of for three years now? I've read through this entire 50 page thread now, with nobody having a guaranteed fix for the issue... I'm trying to help a friend who is having the issue. I swear
if I get a response to try the troubleshooting trash, which clearly does not help, I'll make sure that half of the people with Xbox ones don't buy Xboxes again, not that it would be hard with how terrible customer service is... This is a joke that this has
been known of for three years and still is not fixed.

Got notification today my Xbox Series X has been repaired and is shipping back tomorrow.

Hopefully, they have included what the repair was when it is returned.

Just got a brand new Series X with the Wireless headset and its cracking, distorting and dropping connection every few minutes or so. When it gets bad, it will drop entirely for a few seconds at a time before reconnecting.

I've tried hard resetting, unpairing and pairing, updating to 9.22 firmware three times and still have the issue.

This is so frustrating after spending upwards of $600 for this setup.

Question for the forum is...have you all tried other headsets? I'm curious if the problem lies with my Series X or just this headset. As I see the options as being:

• Return the Microsoft Wireless Headset for another Microsoft Wireless Headset.
  
• Return the Microsoft Wireless Headset and get a 3rd party headset.
  
• Warranty the Series X if the problem lies with specific hardware units.

So, I recently noticed that my Xbox Series X fan runs loud when playing Series X|S / Optimised for Series X|S games specifically.

It’s quite strange as it’s dead quiet every other time, but as soon as I start a Series X|S game, the fan becomes so loud that I need to turn up the tv volume.. it’s quite distracting.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions?

FYI - My Series X is a pre-order/launch day model.. and it sits in an open and well ventilated tv/entertainment stand*

In comparison, I owned an Xbox One S for three years and I never heard the fan on that.

I’m having the exact same problem now. The only time my Xbox sounds loud is when running series x enhanced games, it’s completely fine on old gen games. Have you had this issue fixed or is it still a problem now?
