    Can anyone help or advise me as to how I resolve my gamertag name not changing after paying and changing it? It changed for a month or so then reverted back to the old username despite paying for it. I’d like to resolve this issue if someone could advise me on how to do so I’d appreciate it.

    Hello Jason, usually when we request a Gamertag change it may take a few days for it to be updated in all databases, but mention that yours took more than 1 month, the ideal would be to contact Xbox support so they can check your account.

    Go to: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us/

    See the bottom left part of the page and make sure that the page has the correct region that you are in (ex: United States - English for USA)

    If not, click on it then select the correct region that you are in.

    Check and confirm that you are within the available time of support under Contact times.

    Click Contact us

    Select the drop-down menu options that will match your concern.

    On the page, see the provided support articles that may help you with your concern. Click See contact options if further assistance is needed.

    On the next page, select either Chat online or Request a call option then follow or enter the needed details.

    If someone takes your gamertag before you change it back or you try to change it before the server notices it's freed up, then you would get a suffix.

    I’ve paid for gamertag change. It’s took my money but not changed gamertag.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    First make sure that the Gamertag change fee is showing up on your end and is stated as “completed”. To do so please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders.

    Once confirmed I would highly recommend changing again because it will not charge you again.
