    I've owned my Xbox One X for 7 months, and it's out of warranty?


    I bought my Xbox One X back in the end of July of 2019. It recently stopped producing video output so I went to send it in for warranty repair. When I entered my S/N in, it claimed my Xbox was out of warranty at the end of December. Remind you that is
    5 months. I even had the warranty booklet that told me it was a 1 year warranty from the day of purchase. To send my Xbox in without warrantee would be $250. I have tried NUMEROUS ways to get ahold of someone in Microsoft and it is literally impossible to
    find a single living being who I can talk to about this issue. Microsoft's customer service is terrible. Anybody have any recommendations on what to do in this situation? I'm open to anything at this point. I am very disappointed to say the least.

    As already mentioned by everyone, plz. contact Xbox support. I personally had the same issue and they help me in fixing it. You need to provide proof of purchase.

    I bought a brand new one from ebay and it shows as 11 months warranty. So the warranty must start when the original buyer purchased it.

    call back, change your category/topic. Typically billing options will always give options to contact support directly.

    If the warranty support page isn't finding your serial number then you will need to contact Microsoft. I would suggest following Smwutches advice on getting in touch with a real person.

    As far as I know the warranty is 12 months:

    g) "Warranty Period" for Xbox One, means 1 year
    from the date You purchased it; and for Accessories, means 90 days from the date You purchased it. (a) During the Warranty Period, Microsoft warrants that the Xbox
    One     or Accessory will not malfunction under Normal Use Conditions.
