    Hi there Joooe,

    With the xbox 360 you will need the disc to play the game. If it was an xbox one and it was a digital copy you wouldn't need anything.
    The 360 also has games digitally so the same would apply on the 360.

    You would need the discs for xbox 360 even if its installed on the hard drive

    Once you log into the console you'll be able to see if any games are saved and available for you to play under My Games. However, even if there are games on the hard drive, if the original owner did a license transfer to another console, you will not be
    able to play them on your account.
