    I have had trouble purchasing Backwards Compatible Xbox 360 games on my Xbox One for the past two weeks since I purchased my Xbox One. None of the three live chat support representatives have helped find a solution, and it remains unsolved. However, I'd
    like to request for a discount to purchasing Red Dead Redemption since this technical problem prevented me from purchasing this title when it was on sale.

    Since the rep actually forgot to send me an e-mail with a reference code, the only proof I have that shows I've been having this issue is an e-mail from the same rep requesting a screenshot of the problem I've been having. The title shows a "SRX1398421051ID"
    and can be used to identify this "John B." representative, whom I talked with about this issue a week ago.

    I am not asking for a solution on the actual store issue because I know I'll just get kicked back to the services live feed that shows it's already getting investigated. I'm asking for a re-instated discount on Red Dead Redemption, which was $9.99 for Gold
    Members during the time of action, and is now back up to $29.99. I have a Gold Membership. Thanks.

    So the account I use now I bought from a friend who I no longer know and have no way of contacting whatsoever. Apparently I have to log into the parent email to change the terms and conditions of my account, something I have never had to do before. I have
    not used the parent account for 3 1/2 years and have guessed every possible password I can think of. I can log into my regular account, which I know the password to, but cannot log into the parent account, and therefore can't use xbox live, despite having
    gold. Any attempts at contacting Xbox Live Support have all failed, and i've been looking for two days and nothing has helped. Please, somebody help me fix this problem

    Unfortunately once a promotion ends, it is not possible to get that promotion again until it goes on sale again.

    Xbox Gold benefits not working while I have Game Pass Ultimate

    Same problem here. First i tried claim the games with gold and didn't worked. Tried support via chat and they addded the game on my library. Then i tried buy one game with the Deals with Gold discount and not worked. Contacted support again today and they "made" the purchase for me with the respective discount and charged me only the promotional price of the game.

    It's really annoying. The Live Gold subscription is not working about a month now. My case is still open with microsoft and i encourage everyone who is trying to buy games with discount to reach support via chat and request the game with the promotional price.
    Update: I've contacted support again via chat and they cancelled my subscription and reactivate it. It's the second time they did this and now IT'S WORKING. The person at the chat told me that since yesterday, doing this method helped all te users so i recommend everyone with this problem to contact the suppor via chat.

    Now i can buy the games with gold discount and claim the games with gold.

    Update 2: I noticed that now the Game Pass discounts on games are not applying. The Live Gold discounts are working but the Game Pass discounts aren't. I still can play game pass games and play on the cloud, but the discounts are broken.

    I've lost a discount too but in the chat they "made" the purchase for me with the respective discount and charged me only the promotional price of the game. They billed my credit card automatically. They can do it for you too so you don't loose the discount.

    Update: I've contacted support again via chat and they cancelled my subscription and reactivate it. It's the second time they did this and now IT'S WORKING. The person at the chat told me that since yesterday, doing this method helped all te users so i recommend everyone with this problem to contact the suppor via chat.

    Now i can buy the games with gold discount and claim the games with gold.
