The disconnection issues only happen when the controllers are wireless and I’ve had the controllers for around a year, but I’ve used the elite controller much more then my regular one, yet the issues started at the same time so I think it’s a console issue.

It would be way out of warranty. If you were to send it they'd charge you for it which I think may be the price of a new one anyway since they just do replacements.

The only trouble I’ve ever had from xbox controllers is a wandering thumbstick and that was after a few years of play. I have a regular run-of-the-mill controller now for almost 2 years and no issues. I play at least 2-3 hours a day, every day.

However, my brother has an elite and it is complete garbage. Hoping they address all of the flaws in the Elite 2.

I’ve been a gamer since childhood. I’ve alternated between being a heavy gamer, a more casual gamer, and I’ve had a few years where I didn’t game at all. I’ve also been in the Xbox fold for about 3 years now and I really love the sense of community I’ve
observed, it really is something special.

I’m not sure if it’s a controller issue because I’ve switched out 3 different controllers, 2 for the Xbox one and I recently bought a Xbox series x/s controller and I’m having the same issue, and I’ve been using the same brand of earbuds for 3 years ever since I got my Xbox and I’ve had no disconnecting issues or audio issues until recent months just out of no where. And when I use the tv speaker instead the audio is completely fine and I’m able to hear however the controller will still disconnect or shut off.
