If you are wireless try a wired connection. Personally had this issue also, but after a while of waiting it fixed itself.

Hi fellow gamers,

Any that are having issues with backward compatible games. Make sure to update the 360 profile. To do this:

1. Open the 360 emulator on the Xbox one (hit the two buttons right under the guide button together)
2. Once the emulator is open go to download profile.
3. You will be able to download(update) profile even if it is showing there.

The only solution is to uninstall and re-install every backwards compatible game on my Xbox Ones. This is disgusting and I'm getting sick of these constant Xbox Live issues. I was playing all of these games yesterday. Now none of my BC games can be booted
up online? I had a few hours to play today. Now that will be spent redownloading games that were already downloaded. If this type of stuff happened once a year it would be fine. It happens monthly almost weekly at this point. How did Microsoft believe the
original Xbox One should always be connected to Xbox Live, when Xbox Live goes down every other week or the new updates never function properly?
