    I've been trying to update the minecraft launcher, but I keep getting the error code...


    I've been trying for the last few hours to update the launcher, but every time I do, it won't start but instead give me error code 0x87e00027. I've went into my files and looked for repairs, I've uninstalled and re installed, I've restarted me computer, I even moved it to a different hard drive. No matter what I do it does the same thing. I run a beefy pc and I'm running windows 11.

    thank you for getting back to me Ricardo I really appreciate it. Ok so I updated everything I could update and the problem is still there. Everything else works on the store but for downloading the minecraft launcher I get an error that literally just says "Try again later. Something happened on our end" no error codes or anything. I've tried resetting the app but to no avail.

    Microsoft Store gets an error every time I try to get the Minecraft Launcher

    1. I have no other Microsoft games installed. When I installed Minecraft, it was not owned by Microsoft.

    2. I only get this when I've been signed out of the Minecraft launcher, usually by an OS or driver update that requires a full restart. For that reason I don't get much chance to troubleshoot.

    3. Microsoft Store reports that it had an error. There is no error code. There is a suggestion that I try again, later.

    4. Windows 10 Home 19043.1526, Windows Defender and Firewall, and NordVPN which was not active.

    That's the thing, when I try to install it from the Xbox store, it just doesn't do it. I flashes it for one second, then just stops. Getting it from mc.net just doesn't work either. It will load it up, and then were back to square one. It will say "your games needs to update". I try to update it, but i get the same error message.

    Sorry about that. Did you reinstall the launcher through the MS Store: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/store/minecraf..., or Minecraft.net: https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download?

    I had the same error but it worked after reinstalling it through MS store. You can also try repairing it from your PC settings. Please go to the Start Menu

    Right-click on the Minecraft Launcher. Select ‘More’ then open ‘App Settings’. Within these settings, click on ‘Repair’ and ‘Reset.’
