I've been hacked and changed my gamertag now I have to pay, is it the only way to pay?

I was hacked a while ago, I was able to recover the account by the means of security of Microsoft, My name is Gabriel, when I entered the account by the computer the name was like Larissa.
I played in Xbox one with this account, I changed and password of the account and I went to check the registered consoles there were two, I saw which one was mine and I deleted the other, when entering by the Xbox I put the new password and I entered,
I noticed something diferenge, my gamertag that had never been changed was like "ZDEMONGIRL" not exactly so some letters were capital letters and other lowercase, I wanted to change this gamertag but I have no money, my gamertag was the "original"
given by the Xbox that was "FeignedZebra109" that you guys from the Microsoft team change my gamertag if possible to HKGabrielBR, I still had not changed the gamertag because I was thinking of one, now I can not change it because it was hacked,
I would never use the gamertag "ZDEMONGIRL" of being a boy I think this gamertag is meaningless and ugly, I hope they help.

Account Hacked and gamertag changed

My sons account was hacked. They changed his picture and his gamertag (added R.I.P. before his name)

Now I'm expected to pay to get this changed back? I've altered his password to one that is very secure but surely I don't have to pay to change his name back?

Hey Homedog, Unfortunately the only way to get your gamertag changed is if your account was hacked or the gamertag violates the Code of Conduct. If your account was hacked I would advise calling Xbox support first thing in the morning. If your account wasn't
hacked you still have the option to pay 800MSP to change it your self.
