I've been charged for the gamertag change, being my first time changing it.

So my problem is that, i tried to change my gamertag for the first time and it prompted me to the payment screen even though it's my first time changing it.

I've checked all of my emails and my Xbox feed and I see nothing about a past gamertag change.

I'm having this same problem. I know for a fact that I would've changed my gamertag when I created my account if I could, since I tried to and it wouldn't let me. I don't know why it won't let me change it for free.

When signing up for an account you probably used your free pass / usage, so please check again if it was an error because its either that or you used it, you can use the link below to see if you still have it or not.

Hello Sam, if you chose a Gamertg when you signed up for your Microsoft account, this already counts as a free trade-in, so if a charge appears in the system for the trade-in, it is because the free trade-in has already been used.

I've purchased a gamertag change using prepaid tokens.

I was unable to change my gamertag on Xbox One as any other gamertag name didnt work except for the name I originally had.

Thus I've been charged for Changing the gamertag to exactly what it was before i attempted to change it.

What can I do about this?

That was the first thing i tried, but the first time i logged in the email account had already been changed on my gamertag profile. The most important thing at that point was to get my paypal account off the account, even though i disputed the charges and
changed both my hotmail and paypal passwords.
