    So I tried to use my Xbox one Kinect with my Xbox one for alien isolation and the head tracking wasn’t working am I doing something wrong? It’s fully plugged in but not tracking

    Hello Alyssa, sorry to hear you're having trouble.

    As I'm sure you know the Kinect isn't really supported anymore but I'll try to help out the best I can. First, I wanted to mention that if you have the original setup card and information for the sensor then please be sure to try using it to reset the area of coverage again. You should be able to start that via the Settings menu on the console.

    If you aren't already using one I'd recommend checking your local gaming store and online sites such as Amazon or Ebay for the Kinect Adapter for Xbox. It features a plug so it has a separate power draw from the console and should operate better.

    Finally, if you're unable to get the peek working properly for you in the game I'd still recommend using the Kinect for the noise feature. I've been reading other people's stories and found them pretty funny. One was about a person hiding in a locker when the alien passed by then his dog knocked over a bucket and started barking. The alien came back and got him lol.
