Items on my stolen Xbox are waiting to be uploaded

Thanks! Law enforcement and Xbox were able to track the location of his stolen console. They recovered the majority of items that were stolen including his Xbox 360

To clj1973. You are unfortunately in legal limbo land. If you can not identify your thief's IP address yourself and inform their ISP directly it's associated with a Police Report and is a stolen item; you will have to wait. Reality is, you may and likely
will never get your console back. At most Microsoft, if they validate your claim -- and they will require the police to notify them directly that this console is a stolen item -- can and should ban the console.

I am having the same issue. I have my 360 still and that doesn't help as it says "Items on another Xbox are waiting to be uploaded for this game or app. To use cloud storage, sign in to the Xbox you last played on and upload the items to the cloud." referring
to my Xbox one. So I cant even start a new game. There is another forum on this where more people are having this issue with Dark Souls but i haven't got a response yet.

Call the police and report it stolen.

MS will not "find" a console for you.

You should also look into how your retailer handles items that are stolen before receipt, as well as see how your credit card company handles a retailer that sells items which are stolen in transit.

Sometimes items that you would think would be fair game are considered stealing. If you go into a bandits cave and clear it everything should be legit to take but some random stuff show up as steal instead of just take. Just considered it a minor glitch
and never really worried about it. Have never noticed anything of value having that problem. I either stash em in my junk stolen drawyer or spread em around town depending on the value. I have never noticed anything that I legitly got turned into stolen
in my inventory. Another possibilty is that if you have a bunch of one item and one is stolen it will mark all those items stolen in ur inventory untill you get get rid of the stolen one.
