Item Lose

Try to remove your profile, then turn off the console and remove the power cord; wait for 1 to 2 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the console and sign in!

when you drop items in another players game then expect to lose those items.

if you really care about not losing your items or your character then always make a usb or cloud backup of your file after each session.

now that the game has it's own back up feature you could just go and use that back up and you'll have all your items back.

I saw that you did some procedures and it didn't solve try to clear the cache, in some cases it can solve the problem: Press the Xbox button on the controller.
Go to your profile icon and select “Settings”.
Select "Devices and Connections", then "Blu-ray".
Select "Persistent Storage".
Select "Clear Persistent Storage". (Note) Clearing the cache removes all game updates already downloaded. You will need to download these updates again the next time you play the game.

I tried this option and I cleared persistent storage and nothing happened after I clicked it. I even closed out my game all the way and restarted it and there were no updates that prompted. Once I started the game again, my items were still gone.

I too, have this same problem & I don't want to lose avatar items!!!!
