It wont let me play java edition saying to restart the pc but it still wont work

Hello, Charlie! I appreciate you trying the steps. Kindly log out of Minecraft then Right-click on the blank area of the Taskbar and click on Task Manager. On the Processes tab, scroll down and search for 'Minecraft' and right-click and select 'End task'.

Click your Minecraft username in the upper right part of the launcher, then re-enter your info and try the game again.

This did not work, the error code I receive is , 'Failed to log in : invalid session (try restarting you launcher)'. Thank you for helping

Kindly check if you have any pending updates using this link https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo... or select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update , and then select Check for updates.

If there's nothing pending, go to the Start Menu.

Right click on the Minecraft Launcher.

Select 'More'

Open 'App Settings'

Within these settings, click on 'Repair' and 'Reset'
