It won't let me launch Minecraft Bedrock edition, even though I own the game.

I also have Xbox Live Gold. I uninstalled the game, and reinstalled it, and it's still saying I need gold.

Also, just to clarify are you playing the game Minecraft on an Xbox console, is that correct?

Basically, it is asking me to pay money even though I OWN Minecraft Bedrock on Windows.

I know that but Bedrock edition is suppose to be free to those that own another edition as its the new standard minecraft. But when i try to get it on my PC it says i need to buy bedrock edition even though i have it on Xbox

That and my skin packs arent working on bedrock which is a whole other anger point

Same issue here, I own Minecraft Java Edition but I am unable to even access the page on the Microsoft Store to get the bedrock edition and the launcher just tells me incompatible with launcher

Thank you for that, Nutlike. Just a friendly reminder though that Minecraft on Xbox is a different license than is on Minecraft PC. They're both bedrock editions but the game licenses on both platforms are different.

The promo or bundle is if you own Minecraft for Windows PC.
