It will not process a game I purchased as a gift

I understand you're having trouble processing a game you bought as a gift.

Here are some steps you can try to fix the problem:

Check that the email address of the person you are sending the game to is valid.

Make sure the email address is spelled correctly and there are no extra spaces.

Check that the account of the person you are sending the game to is active.

Make sure the person is signed in to their Xbox account and has an active Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass subscription.

Check that your account has enough balance to cover the cost of the game. Make sure your account has enough money or credit to cover the cost of the game.

Check that your account is not blocked. If your account has been blocked for any reason, you will not be able to send games as gifts.

Thanks for your post! If you're using a Visa Debit gift card, the store may have some issues processing the order. These payment methods are unable to be used with subscriptions and in addition, will not behave well in the normal store. You could go and
purchase a Microsoft Account currency gift card with your Visa Debit gift card and use that to purchase the game and DLC you're attempting to buy.

As Brad said, request a refund. With that, I would then recommend that you look into purchasing a Xbox gift card FOR HIS COUNTRY for him to purchase it on his account. Again stressing region there, as the gift cards are region specific as well.

Unfortunately there is not way to transfer V-bucks from one account to another. Also something to note is that virtual currency like V-Bucks is content that cannot be bought and sent as a gift. That information can be found here:

Only digital content in the Microsoft Store that has an option "Buy as Gift" is able to be sent as a gift to someone else and the recipient has to be in the same region the content was purchased from.

The only thing I can suggest is to request a refund and then buy a gift card for the other person so they can buy the VBucks with the gift card. Here is a link going over the refund process:
