Xbox Live Card

Today I bought a Xbox Live card for 3 months, I put the code to redeem but later it did not let me play online and in my "Payments and Billing" section it appears that the card was exchanged for "USD $ 0.00"

currency problem [help]

So as a gift I was given 2 $10 xbox live marketplace cards.. The problem is that these cards where purchased in the USA and I live in Canada, xbox live will not let me redeem the codes because the gift card balance is in u.s currency when apparently my
xbox account only recognizes Canadian dollars , anyway to fix this in account settings or what?

Was this redeeming on the website or the console? If you didn't try both please try the other method and let us know if that works. Additionally, if you get an error message with a number, please provide the error number as the can greatly help identify
a reason for the error. Thanks in advance,

Were you a Gold membership holder prior to redeeming the code? If not then it looks as though it went through as you are showing as Gold now.

I’ve reread the card and it said I require Xbox live. I redeemed it, but at the time I did not have Xbox Live, so will it let me use the money if I get Xbox live?

Hi if anyone can help I would appreciate it I have brought a voucher for game to get Xbox live but when I redeemed the code it went to my Microsoft account and wont let me buy Xbox live with that it keeps asking me for a credit card
