it says i have to buy minecraft again eventhough i've had it for over 3 years

whenever i try to open minecraft it says to cheack the microsoft store and buy minecraft again or report a problem so i tried factory reseting my xbox but nothing has changed and i've tried repoting a problem but nothing has happend and im at a loss and dont know what to do anymore

Please confirm if you have the game transaction by signing your account to account.microsoft.com > payment and billing > order history.

I've got the same problem.

This page here says I can have it for 3.99euros:

It doesn't work eventhough I have the 360 version.

I just tried playing the game on my other account but it still says that I'm unable to. I don't understand why it says I haven't got the license since it's been fine for about 3 years now and I've had no prior issues with the game. I was told I would recieve the new version for free when I was playing the old version, so I downloaded it and all was fine. I'm curious, is this a scheme by Microsoft to make me buy the game twice? Because I most certainly should have the right to play it as I've already spent money to buy Minecraft Xbox One edition. And as said, I've got worlds on there that I created in 2020 indicating that I've had it for 2 years without it telling me that I don't have the rights.

I would understand if I had gamepass, but I've only ever owned gamepass once and that was only for a month. But the fact that I've never had the issue before for essentially 3 years, just makes no sense to me.

Yes, I've had Minecraft for a long time now, but I only recently got Xbox Live (yesterday, actually). I don't really understand it all yet, though I guess watching YouTube on my television is pretty cool... Anyway, the majority of my real-life friends either
have Playstation 3 or play Minecraft on PC so I don't have ANY Xbox friends; I find myself wandering the land, hiding in trees and avoiding zombies, alone.

It's like freshman year in college all over again.
