First, make sure the console is updated. If it is not, update it and see if it still asks you the same thing. If the problem persists after updating, then try the following:

1. With the Xbox on, press the power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds until it turns off completely.

2. Unplug the power cord from the console and wait 30 seconds.

3. Reconnect the power cable to your console and turn it on normally.

4. Check if the problem persists, if so, please reset your console to its factory settings keeping your games and applications as follows:

Go to Settings > System > Console Info > Reset Console > Reset and keep games and apps.

Hi everyon my Xbox is asking me to update and i keep choosing yes just as the update starts another message comes up saying "Update Failed..... It goes on to say Status Code: 397D - 0000 - 0300 - 8007 - 2751 " Please help

The Advocacy Team sent me another email. Told me to update the contact email address and asked if my billing information was correct. Updated my contact email and it still fails.

As for the billing information, its correct. I'm starting to doubt that any of these support people communicate with each other because I have been asked 4 or 5 times if my billing information is correct, and I tell them every time it is.
