It is posibble to record a capture with the sound of the game group included?

When I play Xbox Games (Call Of Duty Modern Warfare to be exact) I have issues capturing game play. Whether I just begin recording, or try to have it record what just happened. I just get a seven to nine second clip with no sound that doesn't even
contain the action I want to capture. Sometimes out of nowhere it will work, but most of the time it doesn't. I get the same result when recording internally as well as to an external device. I've tried everything including clearing the Xbox's cache and a
full factory reset, and still get the same issue.

Same on GTA V. Geez!

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please check audio recording settings by pressing Windows + G to open the Xbox Game Bar. Click on the Settings (gear icon) and go to Capturing.

Under Audio to record, select All to ensure game audio is included.

And then verify Windows sound settings. To do this, go to Settings > System > Sound. Ensure your default playback device is correctly set like speakers or headset. Check that Windows audio enhancements are disabled.

Next is to enable audio capture in Windows Settings. Open Windows Settings and go to Gaming > Captures. Make sure Record audio when I record a game is turned ON.

Then update audio drivers. Do this by opening Device Manager and go to Sound, video, and game controllers. Right-click your audio device and select Update driver.

After that is to clear Xbox Game Bar cache and then restart. Hold the power button for 10 seconds, unplug your PC for a few minutes, then restart.

The only way your going to do that at present is a capture card, I would think it doesn't happen at the moment due to licensing issues, and copyright, in the same way some games don't record the sound in Record That.

i used x-box 'record this' option for a few times and had a problem that it didn't record both desktop sound and my microphone properly. it can records desktop sound like my game sound properly until i start my mic recording, then it records propperly what
i say but my game sound get corrupt in the recording. when i play the video, i can hear what i was saying clearly but the game audio was not clear and corrupted.

increase audio up a tad than try recording for about 4-5 mins to see how it turns out. if your not sure where to go. Press Settings-Gaming-Captures
