it has been 5weeks, still waiting for gears of war1,2,3 and J's codes

i purchased and redeemed gears of war 4 xbox one in dec, 2016. this is my first game i purchased for xbox one.

still waiting those codes.

christmas -- nothing

newyear -- nothing

and it is chinese newyear now, still nothing.

Waiting for Gears codes

I guess this is common now, I am also waiting... and waiting... for the Gears codes, it has been about 2 months and still nothing, I wonder how disappointed and upset microsoft wants its customers to be?

I am in Japan for now. Can I have those games when I go back Taiwan?

 

One of my Japanese friends said he still got those codes even they could not be redeemed.

 

Because the Games have a region check

If your "friend" lied about his location it wont work he may get the codes but when he tries to redeem them the Games check for the physical location so it doesn't matter where you say hyou are if you are in those regions you aren't legally allowed those
games As they are banned there

Also Taiwan isn't an Xbox live region so neither solution will work

Changing your region now won't qualify for the codes now since you had to be in region when you redeemed the gears of war 4

 

OK, I understand now.

For the region stricked thing, I won't get those code.
