    Can you use the internet on any other device connected to the same network? To me it does sound like a modem/router problem. Are you wired or wireless? Because if it is your connection then you'll have the same problem with PlayStation.

    It was an update that was getting the error so i cleared the cash then it updated, it was odd getting that error for an update?

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. We understand you are unable to connect. Have you tried checking your network and multiplayer connection? If so do you get any errors? We recommend trying the troubleshooting steps for

    connecting to Xbox live    . May be as simple also as rebooting your router/modem.
