it does not let me log in

Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear about the issue with signing in to the Xbox App.

I recommend to try taking a look at this troubleshooting article:

If the problem persists, try troubleshooting the Xbox App.

Perform this steps:

• Press
  Windows key + X.
• Then click
  Command Prompt(Admin)
• Now type the following command and hit enter

Get-AppxPackage
*windowsstore* | Remove-AppxPackage

Get-AppxPackage
*xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage

After a restart (signing out and back in didn't work for me) I entered the following command
(again in a powershell in admin):

Get-AppxPackage
-AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode
-Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

This will install any missing built-in apps you may have uninstalled like the Xbox App.

None of that has worked on my Xbox

Please try the steps one at a time to resolve the issue.

Solution 1: Repair the Gaming Services app and Xbox app.

Please go to Settings > Apps > Apps Features. Select Gaming Services, then click Advanced options. Click the repair button, do the same for the Xbox app, try logging in again and see if it works.

Solution 2: Uninstall and reinstall the Gaming Services App

Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.

In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.

Restart your device and try to log in again and see if it works.

Solution 3:

Please open the PowerShell in admin mode and paste the following below:

Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

Please try setting up manual DNS settings on your console by doing the steps below.

1. Please go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > DNS settings >> manual

2. Primary DNS: 208.67.222.222

3. Secondary DNS: 208.67.220.220
