    Issues with Xbox live gold on Xbox one


    Hi just wondering what is going on I renewed my gold membership for 1 month and I am now able to play the games I downloaded previously on the system through the membership but when I try to play games online it says I have the wrong settings so I have checked
    them and they are set to adult and I have not changed anything else the games I have tried are battlefield 4,halo 5 and ESOL any help would be awesome.

    I recommend taking a look at the following article:
    Using Xbox Live Gold sharing features on Xbox One    .

    Xbox 1 ( Gold subscriber) - Make sure it is not set to home Xbox

    Xbox 2 - Gold subscriber account needs to be the home Xbox to initiate the sharing.

    Try this out and let us know the results.

    I have a similar issue on XBOX One. I purchased an XBOX Live Gold Membership, but on my XBOX One Dashboard, I can't access any Gold features, including free games. I just keeps asking me to "Join Gold". I checked my subscriptions on the XBOX One and online
    under my Microsoft account, and it shows my active XBOX Live Gold subscription. How can I make my XBOX One recognize I have Gold????

    Hey there,

    It looks like the account you're posting from is an Xbox Live Silver account. Is there an Xbox Live Gold account on your Xbox One console that was sharing the Gold privileges with your account? With the Xbox One Home feature, you can share Xbox Live Gold
    with any other account that is signed into that console, however that feature does not work on an Xbox 360 console, which is why you may notice that Gold features work on one console and not the other.

    Keep us posted if that helps clear up what the issue may be.
