Issues with uninstalling a Xbox game!

I started the download for Yakuza Kiwami via Game Pass, at around the 27% mark there was an error and the download wouldnt resume, so i cancelled the installation. However the game is still taking up space on my hard drive and the contents havent been removed.
Everytime i restart the Xbox app the game reappers in the sidebar on the left with the error.

I even uninstalled the xbox app but the disc space has still not been freed and the game has not been removed.

I am having the same exact issue A solution would be appreciated.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

I assume this is on the xbox one console? Was it stored on an external drive, or the primary internal drive? If you go to my games and it isn't listed in installed, have you tried a hard reset to see if that updates the storage amount?

According to the store, Minecraft has approximately 279.71 MB. You probably will not get much space available by uninstalling this game.

This, it's tiny in comparison to most games on xbox, you aren't going to see a noticeable shift in space available.
