Issues With The Last Few Live Updates

So I've been having issues with my Xbox One S's performance for quite some time since a FEW updates ago, and this last one is the worst. Actually it seems like ever since the update that changed the entire layout of the dashboard and they did away with the sliders on it it's been acting like this, and each update since has only made it worse. Before anyone suggests hard resetting, or deleting and re-downloading my profile, or factory resetting, or deleting apps and games and re-downloading them. I have already been through all the steps. This isn't my first rodeo.

The console runs terribly, and also does for everyone I know and we're all in agreement. It's the system updates at fault. I don't know if this is some kind of marketing plough to make people think their older system is inadequate in an effort to get people to buy the Series X/S like how Apple does with iPhone or something. Or if it's just incompetence in designing updates. Or what. But this is really bogus.

I get constant stalling on actions after key press. Apps will freeze up and crash, ESPECIALLY Microsoft apps, it is constantly logging my profile out at times completely at random. Sometimes it won't even let me log in. The dashboard fails to load properly. I will get game lag or crashes sometimes until I go out to the dashboard and let the icons buffer. It's just become a nightmare.

It's not internet speed or WiFi signal ether as I have amazing fiberoptic internet and everything set perfectly. It's the updates and dashboard. PLEASE Microsoft. Roll the updates back or fix it or something. It's broken and has been for a long while now.

I am truly sorry to know about your situation; However, since you have already gone through plenty of troubleshooting steps, it would be a good idea to perform an offline update on the console since you suspect that it's an issue with the new update.

You can follow the steps in the link Xbox Support to perform the offline update, it usually helps a lot with the issues mentioned in your request.

There have been issues with Live on and off for the last few weeks. Not saying there were down just issues seem to be far more frequent the last few weeks.

I've seen a few posts over the last few days from gamers that have had issues downloading games, updates, a few mentioning that when it allows them to download it's going very slow.

So it looks like Xbox LIVE is having a few issues but probably your best bet would be to call Xbox Support, maybe they can help you out but chances are it's just a case of waiting for the issues to be sorted out.
