    Issues with Privacy Settings.


    I recently got an Xbox One and transferred my account from my Xbox 360 to the Xbox One and that was fine. However I cannot purchase anything because it says that an adult has put a privacy restriction on my account, and on my Xbox 360 I could buy things
    at will. I tried to change my privacy settings but the boxes to change them were "greyed-out" and unclickable. I have found out that to change this I need to access an adult account, and I don't have an adult account on any Xbox, so how do I change my privacy
    settings?

    UPDATE: After a little bit of searching around, I have discovered that there is an adult account linked to mine, but it isn't an account which I am familiar of. Is there a way to remove the link between the adult account and mine without accessing the adult
    account?

    Can see everything except Beacon and Bio at this time.

    Can see your friends list, games played but not the beacons.

    Sometimes if you set 1 setting to private, till will cascade to the other setting, even if they are set to a public setting.

    Note This option is available only if the date of birth for the account indicates that you have reached the age of adulthood . The legal adult age varies by country and region. The age of an account owner is calculated by using the date of birth provided
    when the account was created. This date cannot be changed. If you entered an incorrect date of birth when you created the account, your only option is to create a new account using the correct date of birth.

    Follow the on-screen instructions to promote the account.
