    Hello, I recently switched my Microsoft primary email. the reason for the switch was the previous email kept getting many spam emails I was worried about the security of my account so I decided to switch them. once I had done that my computer Xbox live account will not let me access any Xbox like content on the PC I have spent hundreds of dollars on this account and many hours and I’ve had Xbox live and game pass for MANY years since 2016 I cannot access any Xbox related game or sign into the account every time I open the Xbox app launcher on windows I get spammed with the log in pop up to the point where I can’t even leave the home page let alone join a chat room I’m not sure what happened but I am really upset and need this to be fixed because I PAY MONEY FOR SUBSCRIPTIONS on this account and I need this fixed

    Is there another way because I went to go delete it but when I get to Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_cw5n1h2txyewy all the letters you listed above ore not the same in my folders and brings me to different folders

    I’m not sure I want to do that I got a message saying that it would be harmful to my computer if I did that I don’t trust you I’d rather have a phone call instead with a human being and not a computer screen.

    Uninstall the Xbox app, follow this path and delete the folders, reinstall the Xbox app and try again.

    Open File Explorer.

    Navigate to the following:

    C:\Users\[your profile]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_cw5n1h2txyewy\AC\TokenBroker

    Delete the Accounts and Cache folders.

    Note that It can take up to 48 hours for the change to be implemented across all Microsoft services.
